Profile: I was born earthdate 12/11/1957 (or stardate -366942.4) in Huntington hospital, in Smithtown, Long Island, NY. We moved to Naples in summer of 1964 and have lived here ever since (over 42 years). Contrary to popular stereotype, I do not live with my mother, I have my own house in Golden Gate Estates. I attended Naples public schools: Sea Gate, Gulf View Middle and Naples High, GO EAGLES!
I earned an AA degree at Edison Community College and was only a couple of credits short of an AS in Computer Programming and Analysis as well as a 1 year certificate in Computer Programming and Applications Specialist. I worked for the Collier County school system for 2½ years in data processing. I worked a few years as a leadout at the Bonita dog track and also in the hotel industry. I have worked the last 25+ years for the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, where I still work as a Network Specialist in Network Security.
I’ve been married twice (currently single), I met my 2nd wife, and mother of my daughter, through the club. I have a wonderful 13 year old “Star Trek” daughter named Tasha (after the ST:TNG character Tasha Yar). We go to Walt Disney World pretty much every other weekend, and I love the Great Smoky Mountains.
My favorite Sci-Fi shows are: Journeyman, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Daybreak, ST(s), Babylon 5(s), Stargate(s), Smallville, Lost, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica(s), and The Flash. I was part of the original USS StarQuest from the 1st exploratory meeting held October 1990. I was the chapter chairperson from that point until after my daughter was born in Sept. 1993 (stardate -330663).
During which time (3+ years) 20-40 crew members met every Sunday at the Golden Gate Public Library, and was VERY active locally and at conventions. I consider myself very open minded and if you should ever think otherwise…TELL ME!
